Another City

My time in Miami was short but was completely relaxing and necessary. I forgot about time, schedules and stress. It's fun how you can go from one city to another and get a completely different lifestyle. Recognize my top (seen here) and shorts (seen here) seem familiar? They were the best two pieces I packed both super easy and comfortable, and can be worked into anything. I love how shorts are making a come back and they are not the super casual / lazy equivalent that they used to be.

Final Semana

My final week in Madrid has been resembling my first week with the endless amounts of tapas, smokey bars, sight seeing, and shopping. While trying to get my hands on everything for Spain possible I found my self lusting over these Topshop shorts. They are both comfortable and adorable, a perfect staple piece to add to my wardrobe. I even almost slept in them after a long night out!

Mi última semana en Madrid se parece a mi primera semana con las cantidades sin fin de tapas, bares ahumado, visitas turísticas y compras. Al tratar de poner mis manos en todo lo posible que yo pueda desear de España, cuando estoy de regreso en los estados encontré a mi vivo deseo propio sobre estos cortos de Topshop. Son la pieza perfecta para tirar antes de salir por la noche y son muy cómodos para dejarla pasar. Casi me dormía en ellos después de una noche larga!

One Piece; Three Looks

Since I am abroad I tried to move here with only one suitcase (one extra large, over weight suitcase) and spend my days mixing & matching my favorites pieces. (And honestly I think I need about three suitcases to bring all my stuff back!) The quantity in your closet does not matter how you wear it does. I chose my lace cropped top from Topshop as my stable piece and wore it three different ways.

Look One: 

For this look I chose to wear my cropped top with a high-waisted skirt. To give the outfit more of a feminine and sexy feel I let my bra show through the top. This outfit would be perfect for an aftenoon of shopping and lunch or a night out with your girlfriends

Look Two:

My cropped top in one of my favorite pieces because of the buttons down the back. To extenuate this feature of the top I unbuttoned it and wore the top backwards to give it a cardigan look. I layered that on top of a solid white tank top and jeans shorts for the ultimate day outfit.

Look Three:

With the new skirt trend this summer I wanted to give this outfit the look of the maxi skirt without the hassle of searching high & low for the perfect maxi skirt for my petite frame. So, instead I pulled of my favorite maxi dress, layered it with my topped cropped and vua-la the perfect maxi skirt.

The Maxi Skirt

With my petite frame its hard finding anything maxi that compliments my height and doesn't make me look stumpy. Instead of searching all over stores for a maxi skirt for myself that I would ultimately have to alter, I transformed my favorite maxi dress by adding a laced cropped top. It gives the effect of a maxi skirt without having to buy another piece and can easily be converted to a maxi dress when I get too hot in the Madrid heat. Do you love the maxi looks this summer?

Con mi cuerpo petite su maxi difícil encontrar algo que complementa mi altura y no me hacen ver corta de nacimiento. En lugar de buscar por todo el abastecimiento de una falda maxi para mí mismo que en última instancia, tendría que alterar, transformé mi vestido maxi favoritos añadiendo una tapa atada recortada. Se da el efecto de una falda maxi sin mí tener que comprar otro pedazo y fácilmente se puede convertir en un vestido maxi cuando llegue demasiado calor en el calor de Madrid. ¿Te gusta el maxi mira este verano?

Add a Bow

My favorite and most comfortable trend this summer are high waisted shorts. These ones from Topshop are a perfect silk blend to keep you both cute and comfortable (there is even a bow on the belt). I recently purchased this bow headband from Free People and was so excited to finally wear it out. It gives my outfit a boho-style that I just adore. With a bow on my belt and headband you can never go wrong! Whats your favorite trend this summer?

Mi tendencia favoritos y más cómodo este verano son cortos de cintura alta. Estos son los de Topshop una mezcla perfecta de seda para mantener las dos lindo y cómodo. Hace poco compré este arco diadema de Pueblo Libre y estaba tan emocionado de finalmente llevarlo a cabo. Black Lace

I was gifted this gorgeous lace-sleeved dress from Kate Moss' line for Topshop and I have to say that it is my favorite piece in her whole collection. The lace sleeves give the dress a romantic feel while the flames in the chest and sleeves give it edginess. This dress can accompany me at so many occasions; dinner dates, parties, cocktails with the girls. I cannot wait.

Yo estaba dotado este precioso vestido de encaje de manga desde la línea de Kate Moss para Topshop y tengo que decir que es mi pieza favorita de su colección entera. Las mangas de encaje del vestido dar un toque romántico al mismo tiempo las llamas en el pecho y las mangas le dan nerviosismo. Puedo este vestido a tan numerosas ocasiones; fechas cena, fiestas, cócteles con las chicas. No puedo esperar.

Purple Lace

I have been more than thrilled that lace has filled the walls of my favorites stores. I would go to bed at night dreaming of all the laces I would see hanging on the walls. Then I went into Topshop where this purple lace top screamed my name and right then I knew I had to add it to my closet. As I mentioned here I went out this weekend and purchased it! I layered the cropped, see-through lace top with a white skinny strapped tank top but so much can be done. How would you wear this top?

Sunday Shopping

Instead on focusing on my finals that are quickly approaching my mind was still focused on shopping so, I took some time away from the books and onto the streets of Madrid. For days I have been fantasizing about a cute lace top I found at Topshop and went into the store lucky enough to come out with just that top and not the whole store. Knowing that studying for finals was coming soon (as soon as I got home) my iced latte stayed in my hand all day. While searching for a quick place to eat I found a new brand of Tyrrell's chips the flavor, strawberry,sweet chili, & white wine. As soon as I saw that combination I knew I had to try them (they were delicious!). So I grabbed a bag and headed to my favorite sandwich shop in my neighborhood, La Ria De Arosa knowing that they would be a match mad in food heaven. And they were! Now on to my second coffee of the day & actually studying. Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
