Top of the Hub, Boston

For months my floral maxi dress has been hanging in my closet waiting for the perfect occasion to be taken out again. When my boyfriend suggested a date night I knew it would be the perfect piece to wear. We went 52 floors up the Prudential Center to Top of the Hub which had a view of the entire city. It was a beautiful sight and the food matched the ambiance. For the first ten minutes of dinner I sat looking for my favorite landmarks; Newbury Street and the Charles River. We sat eating, talking, and enjoying the sights as time felt endless.

Durante meses, mi vestido maxi florales ha estado colgando en mi armario esperando la ocasión perfecta para tomarse de nuevo. Cuando mi novio sugiere una noche de cita Sabía que iba a ser la pieza perfecta para el desgaste. Fuimos 52 pisos más arriba el Prudential Center al principio de la concentradores que tenía una visión de toda la ciudad. Era un espectáculo hermoso y la comida emparejado el ambiente. Para los primeros diez minutos de la cena me senté en busca de mi lugares favoritos; Newbury Street y el río Charles. Nos sentamos comer, hablar y disfrutar de las vistas con el tiempo sentí sin fin.

The summer reminds me of crisp whites and simple but clean pieces. I love throwing on sun dresses with small details to lounge around the house or run errands. When the summer can be so simple why not dress the part?

El verano me recuerda la de los blancos suaves y sencillos pero limpios piezas. Me encanta tirar en los vestidos de sol con pequeños detalles a la sala de la casa o hacer mandados. Cuando el verano puede ser tan sencillo ¿por qué no vestirse para la ocasión?

For the past three days the only thing I wanted to do was curl up in my bed with my dog and watch re-runs of my favorite television shows. While laying in bed, hearing the rain against my window the only thing I could think of was my time in Madrid and how much I missed it. The beautiful streets, shops, culture, are all something I look forward to hopefully seeing again. For now I will live my Spanish life again through my pictures and blog.

Durante los últimos tres días lo único que quería era acurrucarse en la cama con mi perro y ver repeticiones, de mis programas de televisión favoritos. Si bien por el que se en la cama, escuchar la lluvia contra la ventana de mi lo único que podía pensar era en mi tiempo en Madrid y lo mucho que me lo perdí. Las hermosas calles, tiendas, cultura, son algo que esperamos que esperamos ver de nuevo. Por ahora voy a vivir mi vida española de nuevo a través mis fotos y un blog.

For months my boyfriend has been planning a surprise for me as a belated birthday present while we are home. In the time between then and now I have been trying to squeeze every little detail I could from him & the people who new. With no idea and a bathing suit in hand, he brought me to the gorgeous Hotel Indigo where he rented out a cabana. We spent the day louging in the cabana, laying in the sun, relaxing, eating and drinking with the people who I care about the most. I was so excited to have those people there to share it with me. It meant so much to me and was so fun and relaxing. Just what we all needed!

Durante meses mi novio ha estado planeando una sorpresa para mí como un regalo de cumpleaños tardío mientras están en casa. En el tiempo transcurrido entre entonces y ahora he estado tratando de obtener todos los detalles que pude de él y la gente que nueva. Sin idea y un traje de baño en la mano, me llevó a un hermoso hotel de Indigo donde alquiló una cabaña. Pasamos el día en louging la cabaña, por el que se bajo el sol, relajarse, comer y beber con la gente que me importa más. Estaba tan emocionada de tener esa gente allí para compartirlo conmigo. Significaba mucho para mí y fue muy divertido y relajante. Justo lo que necesitaba!

Pack for...Amsterdam

My last trip while I lived in Madrid brought me to the beautiful and fun city of Amsterdam. Even though I visited the lovely city at the end of June the weather still seemed as though it was mid-fall. To keep my toes and ankles  from freezing I layered socks under my ballet flats and wore two sweaters under my jacket. To stay cute, warm, & flirty my top essentials would be:

blazer; whether the weather is warm or cool (the thickness of the blazer would alter) you will still love cute and polished

dress; id prefer a dress that can easily be layered in a solid color i.e. a shirt dress

tights; they keep you warm, comfortable, & looking fabulous all at once

oxford shoes; with the cobblestone streets and bike riding oxford shoes have you comfortable all day long
scarf; a light weight scarf keeps you looking fashionable and warm

Wishy Washy Weather

The confused weather lately has been keeping me in a daily routine of cooking in & laying around to watch my favorite television series. To get myself out of my funk and out of the house I threw on my favorite flow-y top. It makes me feel cute but comfortable and is perfect when the weather drastically changes from dark and cloudy to cool and sunny.This summer this piece will be my go to but in the fall I can see myself pairing it with tights and neutral booties.

El tiempo confundido últimamente me ha estado teniendo una rutina diaria de la cocina y en el que se establecen alrededor para ver mi serie favorita de televisión. Para mí fuera de mi funk y fuera de la casa me echó encima en mi favorito-y el flujo. Me hace sentir cómodos y bonitos, pero es perfecto cuando el clima cambia drásticamente desde el oscuro y nublado a fresco y soleado.

Florals in Boston

Boston is the most wonderful place to sit outside, grab a coffee, and do some serious shopping. My shopping the other day took me to Diane von Furstenberg a newly opened store on Newbury Street. I found myself in love with each piece and made sure I went out with one of her famous wrap dresses.

Boston es el lugar más maravilloso para sentarse al aire libre, tomar un café, y hacer algunas compras en serio. Mi carro el otro día me llevó a Diane von Furstenberg una tienda de reciente apertura en Newbury Street. Me encontré en el amor con cada pieza y se aseguró de que salí con uno de sus vestidos wrap famosos.

While living in Madrid the thing I missed the most (other than the people I love) was the beach. The beach is the most relaxing place to get away from it all. I love spending my time there to just clear my mind and watch the waves go in and out. The perfect outfit for my relaxing beach afternoon was my gifted dress from Ooh La Luxe, an amazing online store with a extraordinary list of designers, brands, and items.

Mientras vivía en Madrid la cosa que se perdió la mayor parte (excepto la gente que quiero) fue la playa. La playa es el lugar más relajante para alejarse de todo. Lace has been my favorite fabric since it hit the racks last season. Before the fabric was seen on topped crops and bodysuits lace reminded everyone of your grandmother's closet or old fashioned gloves. I love the way lace came back into trends since it is such a sexy fabric to play with. ModCloth couldn't agree more and loved how bloggers were wearing lace this season. How do you wear your lace?

Encaje ha sido mi tejido favorito desde que salió al bastidores la temporada pasada. Home Sweet Home

The first thing I was excited to do after my return home was to shop up and down Newbury Street. It brought back so many memories and I filled my closet with gorgeous new pieces. Since being home the weather has been cloudier and cooler than I remember and am used to but, being home is so nice and refreshing.

Lo primero que se animó a hacer después de mi regreso a casa fue a la tienda de arriba a abajo la calle Newbury. Me trajo muchos recuerdos y me llena mi armario con magníficas piezas nuevas. Desde su inicio el clima ha sido nublado y fresco que me acuerdo y estoy acostumbrado a, pero estar en casa es tan agradable y refrescante.

Traveling

Traveling is always stressful no matter how many times I have done it. I always feel so though I have left something behind and never have enough hands for all my bags! My constant and most easy thing about packing is my outfit. I keep it simple and comfortable but still want to look refreshed when I land.

Viajar es siempre estresante, no importa cuántas veces lo he hecho. Siempre me siento tan bien que he dejado algo y nunca tener las manos suficientes para todos mis maletas! Lo que más me constante y fácil de la mayoría sobre el embalaje es mi equipo. Yo que sea simple y cómodo, pero todavía quiere mirada restaurada cuando la tierra.
