Final Semana

My final week in Madrid has been resembling my first week with the endless amounts of tapas, smokey bars, sight seeing, and shopping. While trying to get my hands on everything for Spain possible I found my self lusting over these Topshop shorts. They are both comfortable and adorable, a perfect staple piece to add to my wardrobe. I even almost slept in them after a long night out!

Mi última semana en Madrid se parece a mi primera semana con las cantidades sin fin de tapas, bares ahumado, visitas turísticas y compras. Al tratar de poner mis manos en todo lo posible que yo pueda desear de España, cuando estoy de regreso en los estados encontré a mi vivo deseo propio sobre estos cortos de Topshop. Son la pieza perfecta para tirar antes de salir por la noche y son muy cómodos para dejarla pasar. Casi me dormía en ellos después de una noche larga!

Dive

I'm not one to go to "dives." When I peek inside each small, crowded place there is just nothing that screams at me to come into the restaurant. Sometime last week my boyfriend researched the best pizza in Madrid and it brought us to Pizzeria El Trebol, a complete dive. Deciding I was going to change my ways I stepped in without a word and took a seat. It was for sure a dive (the whole place only seats ten people maximum) but the bar pizzas that came from the kitchen were more than delicious. After a week of knowing the little pizzeria I am already a regular and have been there three times in the past week! Do you usually dine in dives? 

Hot Date

Lately the weekends have been my favorite part of the week since my boyfriend and I are on completely opposite schedules during the week. So, throughout the week I plan the weekend days and nights packing them with hot dates and my favorites. I had these pictures taken right as the sun was going down on my way to a hot date I "planned" sushi at Le Garage followed by wine on the grass outside of the temple. It was a beautiful night and the best company made the night perfect. I hope you all had a lovely weekend chicas!

Últimamente los fines de semana han sido mi parte favorita de la semana ya que mi novio y yo estamos en horarios completamente opuestos durante la semana. Así, durante toda la semana que el plan del fin de semana y noches de fin de semana y el paquete con fechas caliente y mis favoritos. Yo tenía estas imágenes tomadas derecho como el sol se ponía en camino a una fecha caliente que "planificada" de sushi en Le Garage seguido por el vino en la hierba fuera del templo. Fue una noche hermosa y con la mejor compañía que hizo la noche perfecta. Espero que todos hayan tenido un fin de semana chicas!

Victory!

It was a victory for Spain in the world cup against Madrid last night. (Towards the end of the game I was actually cringing thinking that no one would score!)Since I had nothing remotely close to looking like a Spanish world cup fan I bought a Spanish flag in a souvenir shop and made it into a small dress. It was my way of showing my pride in the crazy streets of Madrid (& they were completely hectic!). I also died when I saw the Louis Vuitton case that held the World Cup trophy. Spain can have the trophy but can I keep the case?! Congrats to Spain!

 Fue una victoria para España en la Copa del Mundo contra el Madrid la noche anterior. (Hacia el final del juego en realidad estaba pensando rastrera que nadie cuenta!) Como no tenía nada remotamente cercano a mirar como un abanico copa del mundo español compré una bandera española en una tienda de recuerdos y la convirtió en un pequeño vestido. Era mi manera de mostrar mi orgullo en las calles locura de Madrid (y que eran completamente agitado!). Felicidades a España!

Bloggers Meet

At Cafe Comercial

When I first started my blog I could not have even imaged everything positive that would come from it. It really has opened doors for me to meet amazing people and I am so grateful for that. Today I met Vanessa from Height of Vintage. We met at Cafe Comercial, an old and famous coffee shop in Madrid where Hemingway spent a lot of his time. She was super sweet and our double date was fun as we shared stories and had a lot in common. I look forward to meeting her again hopefully in Texas!

Cuando comencé mi blog no podía siquiera han fotografiado todo lo positivo que se obtenga de él. Realmente ha abierto las puertas para mí para conocer a gente increíble y estoy muy agradecido por ello. Hoy conocí a Vanessa de la Altura de la cosecha. Nos conocimos en el Café Comercial, una cafetería antigua y famosa de Madrid, donde Hemingway pasó mucho de su tiempo. Era super dulce y nuestra fecha de matrimonio fue divertido mientras compartíamos historias y tenían mucho en común. Espero poder conocer a su nuevo esperemos que en Texas!

Leopard shoes

For the past couple of weeks I have had one of my best friends in town, my mother. It was so good to have her here again to share everything with & to of course shop. I literally do not remember shopping so much in my whole life. On her last day here we decided to stick with our usual daily routine of shopping. I wore my new leopard shoes which kept me comfortable while giving me some height to feel super sexy while shopping up and down Serrano Street. The weather was past scourching but I had my best friends by my side (my mother, Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc.). It has been an amazing couple of weeks and I will miss her so so much.

Durante el último par de semanas he tenido una de mis mejores amigos en el pueblo, mi madre. Fue tan bueno tenerla aquí de nuevo para compartir todo con y para la tienda por supuesto. En su último día aquí me puse mis zapatos de leopardo nuevo que me mantuvo cómodo mientras me daba cierta altura a sentir super sexy mientras que las compras de arriba a abajo la calle Serrano. El tiempo había pasado scourching pero tuve mis mejores amigos a mi lado (mi madre, Louis Vuitton, Prada, etc.) Ha sido un increíble par de semanas y yo la extraño tanto tanto.

Embellished Shoulders

I was happy that the rain was finally disappearing yesterday but the weather remained cool and wet. Not willing to put on any attire similar to the winter I was determined to transform my summer clothes into something appropriate for the cool day. To achieve this, I layered my shorts with tights and wore an over-sized sweater shirt with embellished shoulders to give my outfit more balance and edginess. My converses kept me comfortable and prepared if the rain was going to start up again, which it did!

Me alegró que la lluvia fue desapareciendo finalmente ayer, pero el tiempo se mantuvo fresco y húmedo. No está dispuesto a poner en cualquier vestimenta similar a la de invierno yo estaba decidido a transformar mi ropa de verano en algo apropiado para el día fresco. No lograr esto, capas mis pantalones cortos con medias y llevaba una sudadera de gran tamaño con hombros adornados dar a mi equipo más equilibrio y la tensión nerviosa. Mi conversa me mantuvo cómodos y preparados, si la lluvia iba a empezar de nuevo, lo que hizo!

The rain in Spain

I now understand the expression "when it rains it pours." For the past couple of days Madrid has seen pouring rain and there is no stopping! (not even for a quick coffee trip or errands) So, the best is to brave the rain and be prepared! Your outfit doesn't have to suffer from a rainy day even in the spring. I paired my Hunter boots with a spring dress, tights, & layers. I stole this man-brella from my boyfriend's closet, I love the curved handle and masculine feel. Do you bare the rain?

Ahora entiendo la expresión "cuando llueve sobre mojado." En Madrid, cuando la lluvia llega y es aquí permanecer y nada lo detiene ni siquiera para un viaje de café rápido o hacer mandados. Así que lo mejor es valiente la lluvia y estar preparados! Su equipo no tiene que sufrir, entonces he vinculado mis botas Hunter con un vestido de primavera, mallas, y las capas. He ganado este hombre-brella novios de mi armario, me encanta el mango curvo y la masculinidad.

Summer Scarfs & Stripes

A scarf was the perfect accessory today to do my errands when the bright summer sun went in and the rain began to pour. I was hoping the sun was here to stay but it seems like Madrid is looking at another couple of days of rain. I love these pictures because they have a Parisian "city of lights" feel. Even though it is the summer a light scarf can still be an accessory for your look. What is your favorite accessory on a cool rainy day?

Una bufanda fue el día de hoy accesorio perfecto para hacer mis diligencias, cuando el sol brillante del verano entró y la lluvia comenzó a caer. Tenía la esperanza de que el sol había llegado para quedarse, pero parece que Madrid está buscando un par de días de lluvia. Me encantan estas fotos porque tienen un parisino "ciudad de las luces" se siente. A pesar de que el verano es un pañuelo luz todavía puede ser un accesorio a tu look. ¿Cuál es tu accesorio favorito en un día de lluvia fría?

Sangria in the Sun

My favorite part of the city of Madrid is the city goers love for terraces. On warm spring / summer days you see everyone on a terrace enjoying company, drinks, the view, and laughs. My favorite place to enjoy the view of the Royal Palace and sip on Sangria is Cafe Oriente. The outdoor seating is covered by enormous umbrellas with water misting at you every couple of minutes to cool you from the scorching heat. The view of the Royal Palace is simply amazing and makes the food & drink much more enjoyable. After my afternoon tapas & sangria I got gelatto from Freddo Freddo (two scoops of crema please!). It was a perfect Spanish day.

Mi parte predilecta de la ciudad de Madrid es la ciudad que asiduos adoran para terrazas. En la primavera tibia/días de verano que usted ve todos en una terraza que disfruta de la compañía, de bebidas, de la vista, y de las risas. Mi lugar predilecto disfrutar de la vista del Palacio y el sorbo Reales en la Sangría es Café Oriente. Los asientos al aire libre son cubiertos por enormes paraguas con misting de agua en usted cada pareja de minutos de refrescarle del calor que achicharra. La vista del Palacio Real asombra simplemente y hace el alimento & bebe mucho más agradable. Después de mis tapas de tarde & sangría yo conseguí gelatto de Freddo Freddo (dos palas de crema complacen!). Fue un día español perfecto.

A Day for Rain

The rain usually makes me want to throw on my Hunter boots and visit every museum in the city but today the weather was different. It varied from dark skies, the cold, and rain to sunny and hot. One second I wanted to wear my uggs and heavy cardigan and the next I wanted to be in my havianas and bathing suit. There was just no outfit I could assemble and wear comfortably. Tired of the weather confusion I decided to stay in where I knew the temperature and wouldn't get rained on. To feel my sexiest even while staying in I wore a pink top from Topshop, the buttons down the back make me feel sexy even though I am all covered up.

Once the weather finally cleared up I decided it was time to step out and grab a bite to eat. I stopped into a vegetarian restaurant (El Resturante Vegetariano) that was delicious. Each plate had fresh ingredients and they put a vegetarian and vegan twist on traditional Spanish dishes.

La lluvia generalmente me hace quiero tirar en las botas de Hunter y visitar cada museo en la ciudad pero hoy el tiempo fue diferente. Varió de cielos oscuros, del frío, y de la lluvia a Sunny y caliente. Un segundo que quise llevar mi uggs y rebeca pesada y el luego quise estar en mi havianas y el traje de baño. No había justo equipo que podría reunir y podría llevar cómodamente. Cansado de la confusión de tiempo que decidí permanecer en donde supe que la temperatura y no sería llovido en. Para sentirse que mi más atractiva constante al permanecer en llevó una cima rosa de Topshop, los botones hacia abajo la espalda me hace me siento atractiva aunque sea encubierto todo.

Una vez que el tiempo por último aclaró decidí que fue tiempo de dar un paso fuera y asir una mordedura para comer. Paré en un restaurante vegetariano (El Resturante Vegetariano) que fue delicioso. Cada plato tuvo ingredientes frescos y ellos ponen una torsión de vegetariano y vegetariano en platos españoles tradicionales.
