Greek Ruins

While in Greece we visited the Acropolis in Athens. The views were breathtaking and it's hard to believe my ancestors built such a beautiful structure. I climbed the cobble stone steps the same way they would, in gladiator flats. They were surprisingly comfortable, allowed my feet to breathe, and didn't leave any blisters (not to mention look so much cuter than sneakers).

Welcome to my closet. Currently my harper day bag (seen here) and gladiator flats (both from DVF) are my favorite pieces. These gladiator flats are my newest addition to my rapidly -and much needed- growing shoe collection. I cannot wait to wear them more and more in the summer days and nights. I can already envision them with flowing maxi dresses and short shorts. Ah those summer days.

Dive

I'm not one to go to "dives." When I peek inside each small, crowded place there is just nothing that screams at me to come into the restaurant. Sometime last week my boyfriend researched the best pizza in Madrid and it brought us to Pizzeria El Trebol, a complete dive. Deciding I was going to change my ways I stepped in without a word and took a seat. It was for sure a dive (the whole place only seats ten people maximum) but the bar pizzas that came from the kitchen were more than delicious. After a week of knowing the little pizzeria I am already a regular and have been there three times in the past week! Do you usually dine in dives? 

Tunic & Gladiators

Yesterday Madrid was sick of the heat (along with the rest of us) and the sky turned dark as the temperature dropping a couple of degrees. It turned out to be the perfect day to pull out my favorite tunic & look through the latest lookbooks especially for this fall. My favorite by far is Planet Blue with their newest lookbook featuring Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere. She looks stunning and I added almost every outfit to my personal wish list!

Ayer Madrid estaba enfermo del calor (junto con el resto de nosotros) y el cielo se puso oscuro como la temperatura dejando caer un par de grados. Resultó ser el día perfecto para sacar mi túnica favoritos y mirar a través de las últimas lookbooks para el otoño. Mi favorita hasta ahora es Planet Blue con sus nuevos LookBook con Emily de Cupcakes & Cashmere. Se ve impresionante y he añadido casi todos los traje a mi lista de deseos personales!
