For the past three days the only thing I wanted to do was curl up in my bed with my dog and watch re-runs of my favorite television shows. While laying in bed, hearing the rain against my window the only thing I could think of was my time in Madrid and how much I missed it. The beautiful streets, shops, culture, are all something I look forward to hopefully seeing again. For now I will live my Spanish life again through my pictures and blog.

Durante los últimos tres días lo único que quería era acurrucarse en la cama con mi perro y ver repeticiones, de mis programas de televisión favoritos. Si bien por el que se en la cama, escuchar la lluvia contra la ventana de mi lo único que podía pensar era en mi tiempo en Madrid y lo mucho que me lo perdí. Las hermosas calles, tiendas, cultura, son algo que esperamos que esperamos ver de nuevo. Por ahora voy a vivir mi vida española de nuevo a través mis fotos y un blog.

Yesterday I squealed with excitement when I opened the package from the wonderful people at Redfoot Shoes. I could actually feel my feet thanking me for having yet another pair of Redfoot Shoes to add to my closet. I quickly opened the box and took my new babies (the shoes of course) to Retiro Park to relax, soak up the sun with friends, & enjoy my Cosmopolitan magazine. As I blogged about (here & here) Redfoot Shoes are simply the best accessories to travel with. They fit perfectly in your huge day bag or small clutch, unfold and hug your feet for ultimate comfort and style. These flats are known as the "After Party Shoe" but I also love to use the flats to run errands in or to simple just grab lunch with my girlfriends. Weither Im doing errands or out for the night with the girls my feet wont be throbbing anymore with Redfoot. Have any of you girls tried Redfoot Shoes?

When I saw the four flats dedicated to the four leading ladies of Sex & the City from Redfoot I knew that I HAD to have the Charolettes. Her character in Sex & the City & me are the same person so when I saw these I instant fell in love with them because we have the same style, naturally. I recently blogged about these adorable fold-able flats and finally got them in the mail!! They are so perfect for packing and even come with their own travel bag. They fit in a wrist let or purse so you can slip them in your bag for a night out and when your 5-inch heels are killing you you can make the easy change from hot heels to cute flats. (Your feet will thank you in the morning.) They are also the perfect pair of shoes to travel with because they take up close to no room in your suitcase. I really cannot get enough of these flats. After hitting my snooze button a million times & sleeping until 1:30 pm, I decided to enjoy the rest of the day with my favorites; an afternoon cupcake, Starbucks, & magazines.

The day was gorgeous so I threw on my ruffled juicy zip-up and walked to my favorite sweet shop in my spanish neighborhood, Happy Day. The frosting on the cupcakes are always bright and fun. Each time I go in the store there are different colors and designs that bring a smile to my face. It is simply the best cupcake in Madrid. Oh, happy day! I then grabbed by daily mocha latte and snuggled up to my magazines. My perfect ending to my lazy tuesday.
While flipping through my Cosmopolitan magazine (UK edition) I found Redfoot a cute website for flats that fold into velvet bags. So when your feet are killing from your hot 4-inch heels you can make an exchange and slip into their cute flats. They created an official Sex and the City 2 line inspired by the movie's main characters. The "Charlotte" flats are my favorite, she reminds me a lot of myself so if the shoe fits wear it!  I cannot wait to get mine in the mail! Which is your favorite?
